What an experience !

It was a wonderful and unforgettable dining experience for a new comer to Japanese Sushi! The lobster roll, the softshell crab roll and the crunchy roll were especially good, so with the freshest Miso Sea Bass, kamachi Karma ( Yellow Fin ) , Asahi Tower to name just a few of the many delicious dishes in their menu! To start the great evening was light warm Sake....the hot House Soup....the wonderful Garden Salad topped with secret recipe Dressing concocted by the owner. The taste , presentation, service and atmosphere are really topnotch! By the way we are out of town visitors from Missouri City, Tx. We'll be back again soon.

Our first visit will not be our last. We were pleasantly surprised to find the atmosphere that of a five star restaurant in downtown New York, and the freindly staff treated us like we were in their home. The sushi appetizers were fresh and the presentation was nothing short of pure art. Our Tepenyaki chef amazed us with his skills and entertained us while he prepared our fried rice, vegetables, and entrees of filet mignon and lobster. The thought of the food makes me salivate even today, and the dining experience from start to finish was nothing short of exemplary. We can't wait to go back, probably this weekend.
Amazing new Japanese restaurant - Asahi!

If you're looking for a delicious, entertaining place to eat, Asahi is it! Even if you've been to other sushi-hibachi restaurants in the area, I guarantee you'll be impressed by what Asahi has to offer. The hibachi tables are really cool, and don't make that loud, ventilation sound during your meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is modern and classy; the sushi bar has a flat screen so you can watch a game or see what's going on in the world while you enjoy fresh sushi or sashimi. And the food is, of course, de-lic-ious! Owned and managed by a local family who has been in the restaurant business in the Lewisville-Flower Mound area for over 20 years, you'll feel like a king with the high level of customer service they provide before, during and after your meal. They just opened a few weeks ago, but as word spreads about how great everything is, I'm sure they'll soon be packed every night. So get there quick and see what the buzz is about!
